Bridge the gender research gap between students with AD(H)D
NovUM Student Party
We as NovUM believe in equal education. This not only includes the way lectures and tasks are designed, but also what facilities for students with disorders look like and how the staff is trained on these topics. Seeing as most research on AD(H)D is done on boys and men, we barely have any foundation to base the chosen facilities for students with AD(H)D on. Do men and women even need the same facilities? Our board has 4 women and all of them have diagnosed AD(H)D. None of them feel heard, understood nor helped adequately by higher education institution and staff.
