The Equal Opportunities Programme of the Limburg University Fund was established to make a real difference in promoting equal opportunities and inclusivity. Together with external partners, we support projects that combat inequality and open up new perspectives. A key pillar of this programme is the development of scholarship initiatives that provide disadvantaged young people with access to education and empower them on their way to an equal position in the labour market. These scholarships not only ease the financial burden of studying but also make additional information sessions and individual academic guidance possible.

Many young people dream of making a positive impact on society. They see their studies as the key to contributing to a better world. Yet for some, social and financial barriers remain insurmountable, causing valuable talent to be lost.

That is why the Limburg University Fund, within the Equal Opportunities Programme, is launching the Changemaker Scholarship: a scholarship that gives promising young people the opportunity to study at UM. This scholarship provides not only financial support but also space for personal growth, development, and valuable networking opportunities—allowing them to fully focus on building their societal profile.
