Give to... healthy children

from € 12.500 (32%)

From fries to fruit, from sweets to sweet potato... how do we encourage our children to develop healthier eating habits? This research question lies at the heart of the Chair of Youth, Food and Health. Professors Remco Havermans and Edgar van Mil are asking for your contribution to a new sub-project, in which they are investigating whether babies can be primed for good nutrition even before birth. Help us to create a healthy next generation!

“Modern lifestyle, especially poor dietary habits, contributes to the increasing incidence of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. We strongly believe that promoting the development of healthy eating patterns at a young age will benefit the physical and psychological wellbeing of future generations. That is the challenge motivating our work within the chair Youth, Food, and Health” – Edgar van Mil and Remco Havermans.
