Let's hit €100,000!

The Maastricht University emergency fund has financially supported 108 students thus far. This involves a total amount of approximately 74,000 euros. A large portion of that money (41,000 euros) has been raised through crowdfunding. In addition, the University Fund Limburg/SWOL itself has also made funds available, and income from ancillary positions of Executive Board members that normally goes to UM has been deposited into the fund. We are very grateful for all great donations!

The emergency fund helps students who are not eligible for other, already existing (Dutch government) schemes that could offer relief in their emergency situation. The applications show that the fund is addressing a clear need. To support all applicants, University Fund Limburg/SWOL and Maastricht University are calling on everyone (once more) to do their part. Let's hit €100,000!
