Week 4 and 5 Recap: Primer Design, Outreach Interviews, and Wiki Development

During the last couple of weeks our team has been making good progress in the different parts of our project. In the dry lab, we figured out primers for protein modification, optimised sequences and designed the primers for further research.

Regarding our outreach efforts, we were mainly focusing on arranging interviews with various scientists in the field of biology and continuing the preparations for upcoming events. Also during this period we have been working on deciding on a team logo that works well with the name and topic of our project.

On the funding side, we continued sending out personalized sponsorship emails looking for new funding and sponsorship opportunities. We also started looking for transportation and accommodation in Paris.

In the wet lab, experiments continued and we got some results that served us as an incentive to continue our research.

Finally the wiki team continued working on the development of our team’s website, focusing on its accessibility and ease of use.
