For many young people, a university education remains out of reach. Rising living costs and global challenges continue to widen the gap between those who can afford to study and those who cannot. Yet a degree doesn’t just open doors to better careers; it shapes lives, offering stability, growth, and the chance to build a future full of possibilities.

At the University Fund Limburg, we believe that talent, not financial background, should determine who gets to study. That’s why we’re raising funds to provide scholarships for students with big dreams but limited means. Because education should never be a privilege; it should be a right.

This holiday season, the Maastricht University Alumni Circle Hamburg is coming together to give back. Many of us still remember what it felt like to arrive in Maastricht; full of hope, curiosity, and ambition. The friendships we built, the lessons we learned, and the opportunities that opened up changed our lives forever.

Now, from our (new) home in Hamburg, we want to pass that gift on. By supporting this campaign, you’re helping another young student experience what we once did; the chance to study, to blossom, and to build a brighter future.
