Amount raised by HeArt-Ma'at doubled with CARIM's support

During the past period, the project team HeArt-Ma'at conducted a crowdfunding campaign to generate attention for their research and art project aimed at improving heart health and stress management after the placement of an ICD. The target amount was €25,000. If this target were to be reached, UM Cardiovascular Research Institute CARIM would double this amount. And successfully so. After numerous creative public fundraising efforts by the passionate team, this goal was achieved, enabling CARIM to deploy the 'crowdfunding multiplier'. As a result, over €50,000 has now been raised for further research into art therapy for heart patients.

We extend our gratitude to CARIM for this wonderful support and for encouraging crowdfunding from within their own department. This has also fostered a valuable active connection between research and society.
