Golden support for Annual Fund Campaign 23/24

12-06-2024 | 14:28 In December 2023, we launched the Annual Fund Campaign: an initiative that the Fund has been proud to organise for 14 consecutive years. We joined forces for four unique projects we highly care about. This year, 572 people donated over 45.000 euros!The donations will benefit an art therapy for heart patients, energy poverty reduction in the region, vitality and exercise programmes for the elderly, and scholarships for underprivileged young people. In recent years, we have seen an upward trend in the number of donors. More and more staff, alumni and external organisations and individuals are known with the Annual Fund campaign. We are grateful for yet another wonderful amount of donations and your golden support! Getting active for HeArt Ma’at ♥What made this edition extra special, were the many activities you started for the HeArt Ma’at project. Over 30 activities were registered on UM Crowd. These included running, workshops and selling art. It is heartwarming to see how many of you got active – literally – for this wonderful cause. That calls for a celebration, the ladies of HeArt Ma’at must have thought (photo)! An extra thanks goes to The Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM), who doubled the target amount of 25,000 euros. ‘We would like to thank everyone who donated. Thanks to your generosity, we can now launch research into art therapy in cardiac patients.
